Anna Silk

Anna Silk, born January 31st 1974 in Fredericton Brunswick Canada is an actress best known for playing Bo in The Showcase Series Lost Girl. Silk is an actress from Canada born in Fredericton, New Brunswick. Ilkay Silk as well as Peter Silk both were professors. Ilkay was also a director, producer and playwright. Silk is the director of drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna holds some of her earliest memories of watching television and attending play rehearsals. Silk starred in numerous commercials for children. She graduated from St. Thomas University with the Bachelor of Arts degree in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas has produced two shows in the early days: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk was moved to Toronto Canada in the fall of 1999 in order to pursue her acting. She then relocated into Los Angeles California during the next decade. Seth Cooperman was her future spouse when she first met him in 2007 during an acting workshop in Los Angeles. In December 2009 they married in a civil wedding ceremony. When she converted to Judaism and they were married again in a Jewish ceremony on the 10th of April 2011, in Fredericton. Silk had a child who was named Samuel Jerome Cooperman on May 13 2013. Levi Aaron, her second baby was born on 13 May 2016. Silk has a number of roles on television, among them Cassidy Holland from Being Erica. Silk was nominated for Gemini Awards in 2009 for this role. In 2009 she landed the main character role of Bo Dennis a succubus in the Canadian TV show Lost Girl. Silk made it known to her fans that she was pregnant in January 2013 at the Showcase Season Three Special. Silk tweeted on June 20th 2013 that the series was returning to production. Fourth season began on June 4, 2013 with Showcase and Prodigy Pictures. CNN has named Bo's character with Lauren (Zoie Palermo) in Lost Girl one of the most popular television couples of all time. E! voted it the top couple on TV of 2013. Entertainment Television. Due to the popularity of the show, Silk has gained a large internet following via social media.
